Who Am I?

I work in obscure areas of Cyber Security, that aren't sexy and don't make for fascinating Twitter posts. I don't discover 0days, or break into systems. I have a different blog where I sometimes write about things I find out here so I can find them again, and to try and convince myself I know what I'm doing (I probably don't). Just know that somewhere, I am making things safer.

I also like to write - sometimes humerously, sometimes philosophically, sometimes because have to write something down, somewhere. Sometimes I like to rant or just talk about something I discovered which is interesting.

I'm also an accomplished published speaker, I used to write theatre reviews and present a radio show. I've occasionally written for magazines and other websites but in Japan and Australia even though I live in the UK.

I'm just starting to do stuff with art music as I wanted things to do which didn't involve screens. I may write about this too.
